TFC Recycling Adds Five More CNG Trucks to its Fleet and Opens Area’s First CNG Fleet Maintenance Shop

Chesapeake, Virginia, – February 13, 2012 – TFC Recycling has added five new compressed natural gas (CNG) trucks to its fleet, making it the largest private owner and operator of clean-running, collection trucks in Virginia. The City of Richmond is now accepting bids as part of it’s commitment to convert a portion of the City’s Department of Public Utilities (DPU) and Greater Richmond Transit Company (GRTC) vehicle fleets to compressed natural gas (CNG). The city is requesting bids from qualified providers to supply fuel through a public fueling facility.
