
Valley Metro, the public transportation authority of the Roanoke Valley, has adopted EV Buses into their fleets as of March 25th. Seven years in the making, funded by state and federal grants, chargeable at any electric station, and wheelchair-accessible, these EV Buses will improve the public transit service’s reliability and help reduce carbon footprint.
This makes Roanoke Valley another of the many counties, cities, and school districts taking the important first steps to transition into the new era of electric vehicles.
