Virginia Clean Cities is launching its 2026 Clean Fuels for Clean Air small-donor fund raising campaign to take advantage of new federal tax reforms that encourage donations to non-profit organizations. This campaign is a community-focused initiative supporting education, outreach, and clean transportation solutions across Virginia by allows individuals to make a meaningful impact by supporting programs that improve air quality and promote sustainable energy choices.
New Above‑the‑Line Deduction for Non‑Itemizers
Beginning in 2026, any taxpayer taking the standard deduction can deduct up to $1,000 in cash gifts ($2,000 for joint filers) to qualified charities.
Donations must be cash and made to public charities, like Virginia Clean Cities.
