Join Virginia Clean Cities and electric vehicle advocates at the Electric Vehicle Ride and Drive event on October 26th, 2025.
This is a free, hands-on Ride & Drive event featuring electric vehicle test drives from multiple brands, conversations with EV specialists, and resources to help you learn about charging, incentives, and making the switch to clean transportation.
Tesla of Knoxville will have their Cybertruck and Model Y available to drive. They will also raffle off the chance to drive a Tesla for 24 hours! Blue Ridge Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram will be represented with a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle so you can get the chance to explore both. If a smaller SUV is your thing, Virginia Clean Cities will be brining a Chevy Bolt. Or, if you’re thinking about a truck, VCC will also have a Ford Lightning. Want to drive them all? You can! Whether you’re EV-curious or ready to take the next step, this is your chance to experience electric mobility up close!
THE FIRST 50 PEOPLE TO TEST DRIVE WILL RECEIVE FREE PIZZA FROM PIZZA LAND AND A FREE FROZEN TREAT FROM HAPPY ICE!
The Appalachian Highlands EV Club along with other EV enthusiasts will display their vehicles. These are the people you want to chat with about day to day use. We’ll also have Appalachian Power at the event to talk about EV programs for customers. The Nature Conservancy and Solar Workgroup of Southwest Virginia will also have representatives to talk with you about some great initiatives happening in the region.
You can jam to some music by DJ Hannah Ayres and grab a treat from Happy Ice and Pizza Land (if you miss the opportunity for a free ticket by test driving) when you stop by for this great opportunity focusing on a cheaper and domestic fuel. We hope to see you there!
