GWRCCC Earth Day 5K – Saturday, April 19th on the National Mall!

GWRCCC is excited to host our Earth Day 5K this Spring, and we hope you and your family can join us on The National Mall in Washington, D.C. for an inspiring and impactful event.

Location Details:

The stage, starting line, and finish line will be located on 3rd Street SW, between Madison Dr. NW and Jefferson Dr. SW, directly between the U.S. Capitol Building and the Washington Monument.

Register now to celebrate Earth Day, support clean energy initiatives, and walk for a greener, more sustainable community. Participants will enjoy a scenic 5K walk, engage with GWRCCC members, and learn more about our work in alternative fuels and sustainable transportation.

This exciting event is open to walkers of all ages and experience levels, and will feature:

5K Walk for a Greener Future – Walk from the U.S. Capitol around the Washington Monument and back, raising awareness for clean energy and sustainability.

Alternative Fuel Vehicle Displays – View the latest in electric, biofuel, propane, natural gas, and hydrogen-powered vehicles.

Green Expo – Explore innovative products and services from leading energy experts, green technology companies, and public health advocates.

Recognition & Awards Ceremony – Celebrate the contributions of key partners, sponsors, and green champions making a difference.
