On October 9, 2025, industry leaders, local officials, transportation professionals, and community members gathered to celebrate the grand opening of Virginia’s newest public propane autogas fueling station. The ribbon-cutting ceremony marked a major milestone in the Commonwealth’s commitment to clean energy and alternative fuel solutions.

Hosted by Virginia Clean Cities, Alliance Autogas and the Propane Education Research Council, the event will showcase the benefits of propane autogas as a reliable, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly transportation fuel. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the fueling facility, view alternative fuel vehicles on-site, and hear from guest speakers including.

This collaborations highlights the importance of infrastructure investment in sustainable energy. The new station is strategically located to support growing demand from fleet operators and public agencies seeking to reduce emissions and fuel costs. As one of the few publicly accessible propane autogas stations in the region, it will play a vital role in expanding clean transportation options across Virginia.
